Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time CDL Driver to
join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class A – CDL and demonstrate
a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including driving a F800, hauling an A-Frame and/or excavator.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Communicate effectively with team foreman and other co-workers.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Job Details:
- Part-time position requires flexibility in hours.
- Hours will usually be early morning or afternoon.
- A typical route would be picking up equipment in Lakeland and moving it to Maderia Beach or picking up equipment in Tampa Bay and moving it to Crystal River.
- Exposure to various weather conditions.
