Composite Docks

Hecker Construction builds many boat docks with composite material every year in the South Shore area. Although more expensive, composite material is oftentimes a better long term investment because of all the advantages it offers:

It lasts longer than wood, most manufacturers will give a much longer warranty for composite material. It is environmentally friendly considering it is made largely from recycled material and saves trees that would have been cut down for wood.
Color is more vibrant, easy to replicate, and stays truer for an extended period of time.

  • Easy to clean with a pressure washer.
  • Safer due to lack of splintering.
  • More resistant to mold or mildew.
  • Does not require painting or staining.
  • No need to replace rotting or splintering boards.
  • Safe and slip-resistant when it is wet.

Take a look at some of the work we have done around Ruskin, Apollo Beach, Ellenton, Gibsonton, and Riverview. We have built composite docks on Lake Mango, Lake Thonotosassa, Little Manatee River, Alafia River, and on Tampa Bay.
