Job Description: Tasks include receiving, storing, and transporting materials with accurate documentation and reporting. Responsibilities also involve handling outgoing shipments by pulling, packing, staging, and loading them, while incoming shipments are unloaded, inspected, located, with equipment testing and repair conducted as needed. This position requires operating sit-down forklifts, vehicle maintenance, and maintaining inventory logs. Candidates should have two years of prior experience.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and store delivered products
- Pull, securely load, and deliver materials to off-site crews when necessary
- Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments and place in designated areas
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of various yard equipment and vehicles
- Load, secure, and unload cargo
- Potentially responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation
- Safely operate appropriate equipment for material movement
- Maintain inventory of yard supplies and report it to the office
General Skills: General labor, construction, sit-down forklift operation, skid steer operation, heavy lifting, driving, loading and unloading, yard work/maintenance
Additional Skills & Qualifications: Preferred experience includes driving a flatbed truck, city driving, satisfactory driving record, ability to pass a drug test, ability to lift 75 lbs, experience operating sit-down forklift, skid steer, and small hand tools.
